Daniel Levy directed Tottenham's relocation to the club's new home in 2019.

Innovative business leader the entrepreneur has dismissed launching a buyout proposal for Spurs.

The club had before “unequivocally rejected” an preliminary inquiry from a consortium led by Brooklyn Earick last period and stated the club was unavailable for purchase.

However the nation's corporate governance laws dictated that, having had an informal proposal declined, Earick's consortium needed to make an offer by 24 October or declare they would not proceed.

Official word of the determination was made in a announcement issued by Tottenham to the London Stock Exchange, confirming the organization is “ceased to be in an takeover phase.”

He posted an snapshot of the statement on online platforms, adding: “It was a privilege engaging with Spurs and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few months.

“I hold great respect for the team, its executives, and its supporters, and wish them only the best.”

Spurs' leadership thanked the consortium for its “cooperative stance” in discussions and for “honoring the firm stance” of the owners that the organization is off the market.

The entrepreneur is a one-time music presenter who also worked in space technology for Nasa before establishing his technology firm, which focuses on tech, communications, sports and entertainment.

His approach was the latest expression of interest turned down by the club's board since the unexpected exit of executive chairman Daniel Levy in the fall.

Earlier in September, the team turned down approaches from ex-Newcastle investor the financier's PCP International Finance Limited and a group spearheaded by Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng through the holding company.

Daniel Levy and his relatives hold about 30% of the parent company – which has an almost 87% stake in Tottenham.

He was the English top flight's most enduring chair and is estimated to have made in excess of fifty million pounds during his almost quarter of a century in the position.

But he was also the focus of regular protests by Spurs fans, notably last campaign as Premier League performances were below expectations.

The north London club claimed their initial silverware in seventeen years when they defeated the Red Devils in the May Europa League final.
