Three individuals lost their lives and at least nine others were injured in Ukraine's latest attack on the Russian border region of Belgorod, according to its governor.

The fatalities occurred following a strike on the community of Maslova Pristan in the early hours of Wednesday, authorities reported. Rescue personnel were persisting in looking for people feared trapped under debris.

For the third day in a row that Ukraine has targeted the area, leaving thousands of people without power and at least two other people fatally injured.

Series of Attacks Lead to Harm

The Wednesday wave of aerial assaults harmed houses, transportation and electrical infrastructure in multiple districts of Belgorod, as reported by authority reports.

Sources published pictures from the area revealing a athletic facility with its building components destroyed, and said that response teams were clearing debris and examining the harm.

Within the adjacent community of Moshchenoye, half a dozen persons - comprising a minor - sustained injuries when missile and drone targeted transportation, while a man was hurt when a car was hit in Masychevo.
